Accessibility statement

Wright Frameworks Ltd is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, including people who use assistive technology.

How accessible this website is

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA.

We tested this website against that standard on 8 September 2026 and found no failures. Our testing was carried out by us rather than by an independent auditor, and it has one limitation, set out under Known limitations below.

We aim to ensure that:

• you can zoom to 200% without text spilling off the screen;
• you can navigate the whole site using a keyboard alone;
• you can use the site with a screen reader;
• text is clear and colour contrast meets the AA threshold;
• form fields have visible labels, and errors are explained in plain English and linked to the field that caused them.

How we tested this website

We tested the home page, the enquiry form and all four published policy pages.

• Automated checking with axe DevTools across every page, which returned no issues. Automated tools detect only a minority of accessibility problems, so this was a starting point rather than the test.
• Keyboard only, confirming that every control can be reached and operated, that focus never becomes trapped, and that the focused element is always visibly indicated.
• Colour contrast, calculated from the stylesheet the site actually serves rather than sampled by eye. Body text measures 17.22:1, muted text 7.34:1 and error text 7.20:1, against a required 4.5:1.
• A screen reader, checking that form errors and confirmation messages are announced and not merely displayed.
• Zoom and reflow at 200%.

Known limitations

We would rather tell you these than have you discover them.

Our screen reader testing used Microsoft Narrator. We intended to use NVDA, which is what most screen reader users in the UK actually use, but it would not install on the machine we tested on. Narrator answers the same questions, but it differs from NVDA in precisely the handling of live announcements that two of our tests examined. Those two tests passed, and we have not yet repeated them with NVDA or JAWS. We intend to.

In Google Chrome, if you have a saved address, the browser's autofill suggestions can cover an error message on the form and take the announcement. This is behaviour of the browser rather than of this site, and we cannot change it from the page. If it happens to you: the error message is still displayed on screen underneath the suggestions, the field itself is marked as invalid, and pressing Escape to dismiss the suggestions will reveal the message.

If you cannot use part of this site, or you need information in a different format — accessible PDF, large print, easy read, or anything else that would help — contact us at the same address. We will consider your request and reply within 5 working days.

If you tell us about an accessibility problem, we will fix it if we reasonably can, and tell you plainly if we cannot.
